Latin Post's "Sports DomiNation: Hardknocks and Cheapshots" Podcast:
WWE WrestleMania Preview and Predictions:

From the Staples Center in Los Angeles, WWE "SmackDown" taped its last edition ahead of Sunday's "WrestleMania 31."

"SmackDown" was taped immediately after "Monday Night Raw's" conclusion following WWE World Heavyweight Champion Brock Lesnar's confrontation with challenger Roman Reigns. Despite Lesnar being in the same arena as "SmackDown," he did not appear during the taping. Reigns, however, will participate in an eight-man tag match for the show's main event.

The first match taped for Thursday's airing was WWE Tag Team Champion Cesaro against former team team champion Jimmy Uso, former Intercontinental Champion Big E and one half of the Matadores, Fernando. Uso won the fatal-four-way match.

The Divas were next, but with microphone time. Reportedly touted as a good promo segment, AJ Lee initially appeared to criticize The Bella Twins and compared the duo to fellow E! stars The Kardashians. Paige came out and cleared the air with Lee following their physical confrontation on Monday. The Bella Twins interrupted their "WrestleMania" opponents for some further trash talking.

Finally the main event, Reigns teamed with Daniel Bryan, John Cena and Mark Henry and fought Big Show, Bray Wyatt, Kane and Seth Rollins. While Cena and Reigns received a fair-to-positive reaction on Monday night, the fan reaction worsened for them on "SmackDown." The booing didn't last long as Bryan picked up the victory and celebrated with his team. The taping reportedly ended with Bryan's theme song and "Yes!" chants.

"SmackDown's" taping was short since Thursday's show will include clips promoting "WrestleMania 31" and the week's "AXXESS" programs.

"SmackDown" airs Thursday nights on SyFy.
