A number of celebrities welcomed new members to the family in 2013.

Kim Kardashian, Kate Middleton, and many others had to deal with the anticipation of a new baby for the duration of their much-publicized pregnancies. Finally, when it was all over, their babies became the talk of the world.

Kim Kardashian and Kanye West have undoubtedly been one of the most popular couples to have a baby in 2013. To make things even more interesting than they were in the first place, the couple made the interesting decision to name their baby "North West." The couple has no problem publicizing their child's face to the world and most recently they posted photos of baby North West and her gifts from a variety of other celebrities and family friends.

Another popular celebrity couple to have a baby was Kate Middleton and Prince William, who welcomed their first child, Prince George, in July of 2013. The couple has been seen with their baby on a number of occasions.

Rosie O'Donnell also joined the list of celebrities to introduce more members to their family in 2013. The movie star adopted a child with her wife, Michelle Rounds. O'Donnell is well-known for not only adopting children but spreading awareness about childhood issues in the world. She has done a great deal of work on helping kids and started an organization called the For All Kids Foundation; this foundation has generated a great deal of money so far.

Another celebrity star that had kids this year was Alec Baldwin. The 54-year-old star had a daughter, Carmen, with Hilaria Baldwin. The two posted a Christmas card of sorts with the baby positioned in between the smiling couple.

These are just a few of many celebrities who became parents in 2013. We're sure to have another exciting year of babies in 2014.
