Air Jordan Release Dates 2015: Drake's AJ 10 & 12 'OVO' Photos Surface, AJ 11 '72-10' Coming in Full Family Sizing
Jordan Brand has not released a lot of shoes over the past several weeks, but the popular shoe brand of basketball legend Michael Jordan is making noise as details about future releases have surfaced online.
Sneakernews obtained photos of the special editions of the Air Jordan 10 Retro and Air Jordan 12 Retro -- the October's Very Own or OVO editions, which are both directly related to popular singer Drake.
The Air Jordan 10 Retro "OVO" is officially listed as the White/Metallic Gold-White colorway of one of the most popular retro models from Jordan Brand.
This edition features a white-based upper part along with a caviar leather on the mudguard an off-white portion, which gave the shoe a simple yet elegant makeup. It also has gold "Air Jordan 23" print on the tongue and gold OVO logo on the insole.
Sneakernews also posted detailed images of the Air Jordan 12 Retro "OVO" editions, which features a black-based upper part combined with a smoky-black outsole.
According to the report, this edition is expected to get more attention than the Air Jordan 10 Retro because of the fact that this model became popular because of Jordan's flu game and his fifth championship in the NBA.
"This sample rendition made just for Drake's inner circle is regarded much higher than the 10th model because of the rich Championship-winning history around the shoe," Sneakernews noted. "Jordan Brand crafted the unreleased OVO version with the high-end sting-ray leather as well as smoky-black outsoles for a seamless blend of luxury and street."
Jordan Brand has yet to announce the release date and official price of these two excellent-looking models, but reports indicated that the Air Jordan 12 Retro became available on FlightClub and eBay.
Meanwhile, Publishyourkicks confirmed that the highly anticipated Air Jordan 11 "72-10" edition will come out in full family sizing when it hits the market on December 19 as part of the company's Holiday collection. It has a black-based upper part with red Jumpman logos and is finished off with white sole.
The Air Jordan 11 "72-10" edition, which is officially listed as the Black/Gym Red-White-Anthracite colorway, sports a design that pays tribute to the magical run of the Chicago Bulls during the 1995-96 season, when Jordan-led squad won 72 of their 82 regular-season games.
This edition will be available for $220 per pair in adult sizes. Price details for the gradeschool, toddler and infant sizes are still unknown at this point. Photos of this edition can be seen on this link.
