Comedian Mike Epps didn't have a witty comeback when confronted by his wife, Mechelle Epps, on Saturday after she saw a conversation between him and another woman on Twitter.

The "Next Friday" actor tweeted at a woman whose Twitter handle is @CeciCitra on Saturday, starting with "Hey," which initiated the conversation, followed by, "Are you on ig." The woman responded that she was not on the photo-heavy social media platform because she "wasn't getting the likes I deserve," which prompted the comedian to tweet, "DM me," reports Us Weekly.

Epps' wife was watching her husband flirt with the woman on Twitter. She got involved by simply tweeting both eye ball emojis to alert them she saw their conversation.

The woman later posted a screen shot of Epps' profile that showed she had been blocked by the "Hangover" actor.

@CeciCitra's real name is Cecelia Helen Barrett. She is the owner of CCB Studio in downtown Atlanta, Georgia, which is an 800 sq.ft. facility available to rent for photography, video shoots, events, exhibitions and more.

Barrett's Twitter account now reads, "In a very serious relationship so plz no compliments."

Epps' flirtatious exchange with Barrett over the weekend, which was hilariously interrupted by his wife, kicked off thousands of social media responses and memes, including this amusing post:

There's a second woman with the Twitter handle @Kailyndy who replied to a couple of Barrett's tweets claiming Epps had direct messaged her as well. Twitter followers demanded proof, which she provided by posting a screenshot of a conversation in which Epps asks her what she was doing, and her response that she was relaxing and watching "Power."

Mechelle has not commented publicly about her husband's Twitter flirting, however, pictures of him are missing from her Instagram account.

Epps married Mechelle in July 2006, after the couple met on the set of "The Fighting Temptations." They have two young daughters together, Maddie and Mariah. He is also the father of daughters Makayla and Bria from a previous relationship.
