Orange is the New Black Season 2 Premiere and Cast News: Will Bennett Be Arrested?
Three judges unceremoniously killed net neutrality and cable providers are starting to clamp down on Netflix's bandwidth usage, but at least fans of the popular video streaming site still have Orange Is the New Black to look forward to.
OITNB is about a bisexual women coming to terms with her unexpected 15-month-long prison sentence is sweet, sexy, comical, dark and dreary all at the same time. It's what a true drama should be, serious to a point, but not to a fault.
However, the female prisoners aren't the only ones steaming up laptop monitors and TV screens across the nation -- the men aren't half bad themselves. Perhaps the most dashing of the male cast is Matt McGory, who plays correctional officer-turned-lethario John Bennett.
When asked by E! News how his character will handle the stresses of becoming a father on the down low next season (he impregnated an inmate), he doesn't hold back.
"You can't exactly have candlelight dinners," McGorry said. "You'll get to see Bennett sweat a lot."
Yet Bennett not only has to keep his relationship hidden, he may have to stave off another man from taking his woman! Sleezebag correctional officer George "Pornstache" Mendez had sex with Dayanara, the pregnant inmate, as well.
"I don't understand that storyline if he's faking it. I don't really get it. I don't know why he's doing that," Mendez's Pablo Schreiber told Latino Post. "I think in order to buy into that you have to believe he was swept off his feet and really the only thing that he was waiting for was for someone to pay attention to him. And the moment that someone does, he's all in. And that's probably the most tragic thing about him. That as nasty as he was being the entire time and all the awful things he did, if someone would have just paid attention to him and been nice to him, it could have all been avoided."
Daya only did the dirty deed to frame Mendez and protect her boy. Sleeping with an inmate is a felony that not only gets you fired, but you'll be booked as well.
The amount of drama this one-hour show has is mind-bogglingly amazing.
