Infinity Ward has announced that its new downloadable content for "Call Of Duty: Ghosts" is now available, SlashGear reports. The DLC offers gamers a wide range of customization options through packs that will allow them to get creative with the loadout of their characters.

The packs let gamers change the design of their accessories with random (or ridiculous) layouts. Here's a rundown of the packs and their prices from SegmentNext:

Personalization Packs, $1.99: Circuit, Ducky, Inferno, and Space Cats design, each pack includes themed weapon camo, reticle, player patch, player card, and player background.

Multiplayer Characters, $1.99 each: Introducing the following custom characters for use n multiplayer based on Ghosts from the story campaign - Keegan, Merrick, Elias, and Hesh.

Extra Slots Pack, $1.99: Adds an additional four slots to loadouts, bumping total number of slots from six to ten for each squadmate.

Captain Price Legends Pack, $3.99: Includes Captain Price multiplayer character, and also Captain Price themed Personalization Pack items - weapon camo, player patch, player card, reticle, player background.

The packs are currently available for the Xbox One and Xbox 360. Versions for the PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 4 have yet to be confirmed.

The packs don't really do anything for the gamers, since they're just skins. They just add a bit of child-like wonder when you're laying down a hail of bullets. But for two dollars, is the download worth it? It seems like it would be better off just imagining your weapons painted with ducks and cats.

"Call of Duty: Ghosts" is a first-person shooter video game developed by Infinity Ward. It was first released in the last quarter of 2013 for PC, Xbox 360, Xbox One, PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, and Wii U. It follows the story of an elite group of U.S. Special Operations forces called ghosts as they execute covert missions deep behind enemy lines.
