"I kind of want to move out," the young Kendall Jenner says on an upcoming episode of Keeping Up With The Kardashians which is set to air this Sunday, Feb. 23, where she expresses her desire to become more independent.

Kendall Jenner said in her off-camera interview, "I am looking forward to turning 18 ... it's one of my first steps in becoming an independent woman, and one of the first things I want to do is get a place of my own ... it's exciting to see what's out there!" It does make sense that Kendall wants more independence now that she is coming into her own as an adult, developing her own brand and even doing modeling. She already has an active business and social life which is separate from the rest of her family.

"If I were to give you advice now, I would tell you to live here as long as you can," Kim said. It's not exactly clear yet why Kim recommends for Kendall to stay put for the moment but perhaps big sister knows best. Young celebrities do have a way of behaving irrationally although in her defense, Kendall hasn't shown any of those negative signs. "Exactly; I think you should really take your time Kendall -- concentrate on Magic Mountain, it should be your first priority right now," mom Kris Jenner said, referring to the 18 year old's theme park birthday celebration.

It seems that opinion is divided in the household about whether Kendall should have her independence right now and how much independence she should have. Bruce Jenner said, "I can't believe she [Kris] is mad that I am encouraging Kendall to move out. I moved out of the house when I was 18 and I never came back -- kids do this." Hopefully Kendall will get what's best for her without it becoming a protracted battle.
