The film adaptation of the bestselling erotic novel "Fifty Shades of Grey" will be out in the next 11 months and fans are almost obsessed with knowing anything about one of its lead characters Christian Grey played by Jamie Dornan.

In a recent magazine interview, the Irish actor revealed how Hollywood actress Keira Knightley who was once his ex helped him be comfortable with fame, the London ES wrote. The 31-year-old actor admitted how he did not feel awkward at all in accepting the hot, businessman role since he has been used to doing racy stunts being a former Calvin Klein model. And when his past relationship with Knightley was brought up, the Christian Grey actor only said: "I don't think I'm ever going to be as famous as her."

Jamie and Keira dated for a couple of years after having met in a photo shoot way back in 2003, The Stir reports. The actress then was at the peak of her career having been included in the movie "Pirates of the Caribbean" which also starred Johnny Depp. With such a superstar girlfriend by his side, Jamie himself was also pushed under the spotlight at that time.

Now that the former model is now married to musician Amelia Warner with whom he has a daughter, his relationship with ex-girlfriend Keira may have long been over but it will surely help him handle the coming of a big thing for being Christian Grey on the big screen.

On other "Fifty Shades of Grey" news, the Irish hunk is discovered to be a fan of Rita Ora, the British singer turned actress who plays the role of Christian Grey's sister. When EW recently interviewed Marcia Gay Harden who plays Mrs. Grey, the mother of the hot Christian, the veteran actress revealed that during breaks of their shoots, Jamie would belt out Ora's song.

Besides, it's not a surprise at all to hear about a singing Jamie Dornan since he also used to be the lead singer of a folk band called "Sons of Jim" in Ireland.
