NFL Week 7 Injury Report on Dez Bryant, Greg Hardy, Tyrod Taylor, Victor Cruz & Dion Lewis
We all love football, but we hate injuries. Unfortunately, injuries are part of the game. This week there are quite a few notable players who are injured. Let's dig a little deeper and checkout the status of some of the prominent injuries heading into this weekend.
Dez Bryant
Dez Bryant hasn't played since Week 1 against the New York Giants when he broke his foot. The Dallas Cowboys will take on the Giants again this weekend. Bryant would love to play in this one. According to league reports, Bryant is improving big time with deep cuts and is participating in practice this weeks. His status remains "questionable" for Sunday's game.
Victor Cruz
It feels like every week Victor Cruz is "close to coming back." Giants fans shouldn't get their hopes up. Cruz has not been cleared to practice, and it is "unlikely" that he will play against the Cowboys. Cruz is still nursing a patellar tear, and he hasn't played in a single game this season. He only played in six games all of last season.
Steve Smith
Steve Smith has been getting a little banged up this year, but the Baltimore Ravens wide receiver will be on the field on Monday. He missed the Week 5 game against the Cleveland Browns with a back injury, but he is not even listed on the Ravens injury report for this week.
Larry Fitzgerald
Larry Fitzgerald did not practice on Thursday. Don't worry Arizona Cardinals fans, Fitzgerald was given a veteran day off. He will be playing on Monday night against the Baltimore Ravens.
