Today we take a look at another 2013 Miss USA hopeful, Chrissy Zamora. The Miss USA pageant is being held Jun. 16 this year at the Planet Hollywood Resort and Casino in Las Vegas, Nev.

Zamora is a warm, hard-working, and of course, stunningly beautiful contestant from the state of Wisconsin. She was born and raised in Milwaukee, living with her large, tight-knit family.

Zamora, 26, was the middle child of five in her family. She has spoken very fondly of her family environment, stating that everyone learned how to play their roles, not as a responsibility to be groaned over, but simply as a routine. Zamora credits her success to some of the values she learned in a large family.

"My greatest accomplishment was definitely learning how to pay for college on my own," Miss Wisconsin said. She also noted that "the only downside to growing up in a huge family is that you don't always have the latest and greatest toys and you have a lot of hand-me-downs. It was actually really great because it helped me to learn the value of the dollar at a young age."

Learning the value of a dollar is far from the beauty queen's only accomplishment, however. Zamora also graduated from the University of Minnesota with a Bachelor of Science in Retail Merchandising, not to mention winning the coveted title of Miss Wisconsin, a role she hopes to use to be able to promote a cause very close to her heart.

"Something that is important to me and really near and dear to my heart is helping young women build their confidence and self-esteem. My aunt was actually a victim of domestic violence and ultimately killed by her husband."

Besides inspiring confidence and self-reliance among the young women who look up to her, Zamora also has designs on taking over the business world. She has stated that one day she hopes to own a clothing business so that she can distribute her own fashion designs to the world.
