After being rumored to be engaged, "Anaconda" singer Nicki Minaj breaks his silence about the circulating news claiming that she just got engaged with boyfriend and rapper Meek Mill in her latest Billboard cover interview.

Published last Dec. 10, Minaj who posed topless for Billboard, talked about her successful musical career and love life, which, of course, included answering rumors that she was engaged to Mill after posting photos of two diamond rings on separate occasions, which she revealed to be a gift from her boyfriend.

During the interview, Minaj was apparently wearing her yellow diamond ring from Mill, which was a gift for her birthday last year. And when asked about it, the 33-year-old revealed, "He and I are not engaged. But he said he would like to give me three rings before we get married. My birthday's coming up, and he better get the new one, because he got [the first one] for my last birthday. So let's see what happens."

Rumors of her engagement sparked again when she posted another photo of her left hand, which was accessorized with yet another gigantic diamond ring from Mill. She wrote the caption, "Now this is what I'm talking about baby. Lol. Love u...RANG finga whr da rock iiizzzzzzz," she wrote on Instagram alongside the photo.


The photo was posted on her birthday this year on Dec 8. It was definitely proof that Mill was keeping his promise of giving three rings to his girlfriend before getting married. So now, there's one ring left. Fans could just wait for the third ring to be given, which would mark their real engagement.

Furthermore, Minaj and Mill, who are now living together, are taking serious steps to better their individual lives, especially since Mill is facing a case for violating his parole in a drug and gun conviction from 2009, the Daily Mail reports.

Apparently, Mill violated parole last month which had Minaj spend 30 minutes on the stand to convince the judge not to send Mill in jail as he was a changed man and Minaj even promised to handle Mill's schedules to make sure he does not leave the state without obtaining a travel voucher.

"He's not perfect but I can't believe how much he's changed," Minaj said according to the news agency. Meanwhile, Mill has yet to comment on the recent court appearance made by Minaj last Thursday.
