Amy Schumer recently found out she was nominated for two Golden Globes for her debut film, "Trainwreck."

The 34-year-old comedian and actress phoned into the "Today" show on Thursday morning to express how she reacted when she first found out, according to People.

"Trainwreck," which was released over the summer, is nominated for best comedy film, and Schumer is nominated for her role in the movie for best actress in a comedy and is going up against her good pal Jennifer Lawrence, who was nominated for her film, "Joy."

"As soon as I saw that we were both nominated, I took her right out of my phone because our friendship is obviously over," Schumer said in the interview. "It's really every woman for herself at this point, and I don't want her to kind of get in my head, you know?"

Later in the interview Schumer implies she's obviously joking about the ended friendship, which has them working on a screenplay together and dancing on Billy Joel's piano.

Brie Larson, who played Schumer's sister in "Trainwreck" was also nominated for her performance in "Room" in the drama lead actress category.

"It's just so nice! My friends!" Schumer said.

"Room blew me away. Brie's performance in that just completely floored me and my sister, and I just love her so much. And Jen, I haven't seen 'Joy' yet. I get to see it this Sunday, and I just can't wait. But she always knocks it so far out of the park."

Schumer will also be competing with Melissa McCarthy, Lily Tomlin and Maggie Smith for the best actress in a comedy accolade.

This has been a successful year of winning awards for Schumer, who also scored an Emmy for her show "Inside Amy Schumer" and a Peabody Award. On top of these honors she was given the chance to host "Saturday Night Live" and was given her own HBO special.

"Trainwreck," which also starred Bill Hader, was released on July 17.
