Forty-six-year-old Academy Award winning actress Nicole Kidman has been the topic of headlines for her allegedly photo-shopped Jimmy Choo Ad, her upcoming movie roles, and her success as a mother according to her country star husband, Keith Urban.

It was Kidman's Jimmy Choo ad that probably garnered the most buzz and controversy, with critics describing the Australian beauty as looking like a "mutant" and a "plastic alien." The Ad itself was dubbed "Photoshop Murder" on Twitter.

So what was all the fuss about? The controversial Jimmy Choo ad featured Kidman looking about 20 years younger and almost unrecognizable as she sports a white blazer, a handbag, and, of course, her Jimmy Choo shoes. The ad received plenty criticism and backlash for its overuse of retouch and Photoshop editing on Kidman's body and face.

"Nicole Kidman is a very beautiful woman, and so I'm not sure why the multitudes of people involved in the shoot decided to put a different woman's face on top of hers," wrote Gloss' fashion critic Julia Sonenshein. "When massive campaigns or covers get digitally altered like this, it's not a case of one overzealous design intern being too zoomed into the screen. Scores of people look at these images before they're made public, and sign off on the look."

Despite its less than stellar reviews, Jimmy Choo and Kidman have stuck by the Ad with Kidman describing the Ad photo shoot as "rebellious" and "fun."

Another supporter of Kidman is her husband and American Idol judge, Keith Urban. While arriving solo on the red carpet of the 49th Annual Academy of Country Music Awards, Urban told People, "I always give props to Nic. We travel so much as a family, she does an amazing job keeping everybody together. She's got the kids' schedule dialed in, she's dropping them off even in the middle of her work. I couldn't do any of this without her.'

He added, "Trying to block out time never seems to work. So if she's shooting a film -- she was in Morocco, so we're like, 'Okay, we're gonna go to Morocco for a holiday.'"

Urban won three ACM awards that night including video of the year and vocal event of the year with Miranda Lambert. Unfortunately, Kidman was not in attendance as she is currently shooting for her upcoming indie film, 'Strangerland' in Sydney, Australia.

Kidman's other upcoming films include The Railway Man, Paddington, Before I Go to Sleep, Grace of Monaco, and Queen of the Desert.

With her long list of upcoming films, it seems that Kidman may be in the running for being named the highest-paid actress yet again.
