‘The 100’ Season 3 Releases Full Length Epic Trailer [Watch]
Since there was such a long wait since the Season 2 finale for CW's "The 100," they are wasting no time getting the word out with a trailer about the epic season 3 that is primed to be the event of the season for the network.
According to Entertainment Weekly, there is no real show if there is not a war. The story continues in what appears to defy all logic that took place after the finale events last season culminated in a genocide and what appeared to be the end of the war between the Sky people and the Grounders.
But just like with any great post-apocalyptic show, the war between opposing factions never truly ends. It only postures to make new end roads. But in the climax, the ends will justify the means.
Bellamy was quick to point out in the trailer that the war between themselves and the Grounders started when they landed on the Earth and it is not going to really go anywhere.
Clarke is still a broken woman, following her decisions of last season. She is wandering and still heavily involved in the conflict, although not by choice.
Raven is still broken and Jasper has shaved his head, so there are many changes coming about that signify a much more substantial story for the season.
There is also a scene in the trailer where Clarke pulls a knife on Lexa (Alycia Debnam-Carey). That scene was a quite an emotional telling moment between the two characters. There is ample reason to believe that the two are still very much in love with each other and the split second scene shoveled in quite an extensive overload of sexual tension between the two.
Carey is expected to be leaving the show soon, which may mean she will be killed off. She is also starring on AMC's "Fear The Walking Dead."
Michael Beach made his debut on the show as Pike, the adult leader for the Grounders. He proclaims the land for the Grounders and vows to meet any resistance with instant death.
