Amid the recent divorce reports surrounding Cheryl Fernandez-Versini's marriage to husband Jean-Bernard Fernandez-Versini is the rumor that the couple has already split months ago. They had reportedly acted friendly and not intimate towards each other in October during Ant & Dec's party because it's believed by then they have already long been separated.

A source told Mirror UK that Cheryl and Jean-Bernard have separated five months ago. The "X-Factor UK" judge reportedly realized that she married Jean-Bernard too soon after a three-month whirlwind romance.

"They actually split up in August. Over time it became clear to each of them that they were very different people and from very different worlds," the source said.

The insider further revealed that they had amicably decided on the divorce. However, despite the separation, Cheryl and Jean-Bernard still remain very good friends.

The source's claims came after another insider told The Sun about Cheryl's reasons for divorcing the French restaurateur. The former Girls Aloud singer has reportedly started processing divorce proceedings, with the papers ready to be worked on in the coming weeks. Cheryl reportedly cited Jean-Bernard's "unreasonable behaviour" as reason for the divorce.

The insider claimed Cheryl has had enough of her husband's jealousy. Jean-Bernard reportedly didn't like it that she spent so much time with other men and even with her pet Chihuahuas Coco and Buster. The source further claimed that the 32-year-old singer wants the divorce done quickly but worries financial talks with Jean-Bernard will delay the process. Divorce experts claimed Cheryl could lose millions if she agrees against a prenuptial agreement.

However, Mirror UK claimed in a separate report that Jean-Bernard also wanted a quick divorce and wanted none of Cheryl's money. A source said to have knowledge of the couple's marriage also told the site that the French businessman also laughed off claims about his jealousy being the reason for his divorce with Cheryl.

Cheryl has yet to comment on the recent divorce reports. However, Jean-Bernard recently took to his private Instagram page to post a couple of cryptic messages amid the split claims. According to Mirror UK, he shared a photo of himself beaming at the camera along with the caption, "To be continued...if you think you know, you ain't no idea, but be my guest keep on." He also shared a photo of his dog and added the caption, "Really!!" next to three laughing emojis.
