Creator Ryan Murphy is very secretive when it comes to American Horror Story: Freak Show. As a result, it's hard to get anything out of the FX show's stars either. Recently, however, actor Denis O'Hare opened up about season 4.

In an interview with Vulture, O'Hare confirmed his role in American Horror Story: Freak Show. Unlike Kathy Bates, Evan Peters and Sarah Paulson, who TV Guide says will all be playing freaks, O'Hare will portray what he describes as "a collector of freaks."

In addition, O'Hare said that his character will be closely entwined with that of Jessica Lange.

"I'm going to be working at cross-purposes with her. We're going to be like this," O'Hare said while crossing his fingers.

In the upcoming season Lange will play a German woman who manages one of the last freak shows still standing in the United States.

"We'll have lots of scenes with each other, but we'll be battling," O'Hare continued.

Although everyone is moving on to the next chapter of American Horror Story, O'Hare still keeps a piece of American Horror Story: Coven with him

"I loved Spaulding ... and his dolls," O'Hare said of his season 3 character. "I kept one. A little one. I can't talk about it. I think Ryan would let me go, for that."

O'Hare can currently be seen on Broadway in Of Mice and Men.

American Horror Story: Freak Show will take place in the 1950s in Jupiter, Fla., but Murphy recently said the show could see many more settings in the future.

"I want Horror Story to go 10 years or more! And I think it can," he told E! News last week.

It has been confirmed, however, that season 4 of the the supernatural thriller will be Lange's last.

American Horror Story: Freak Show premieres on FX in October.
