In the latest report from the Wrestling New Observer, plans for a trio of NXT stars were revealed, per Wrestling Inc. It is noted that WWE plans tend to change their plans, but here are the latest news on the main roster debuts for NXT champion Finn Balor, Sami Zayn and Samoa Joe.

Finn Balor Staying in NXT Much Longer

The current NXT champion is arguably the biggest star down at developmental and he can help WWE ease the loss of talents due to injuries. However, the company is looking to expand the NXT brand, and management wants him to be the face of it.

Triple H noted in an interview with Pro Wrestling Stories last December that he expects Balor to stay in NXT. He added that bringing "The Demon" to the main roster as a filler for injured superstars will just get him lost in the shuffle once they become healthy.

"I hate taking a guy like Finn Balor and saying, 'Hey look, you're the band-aid to hold us over until these other guys come back and then we'll see from there," Triple H said.

Balor has expressed that he wants to stay in NXT longer and be the one responsible for taking the brand to the next level. He told PodNasty Wrestling Podcast as quoted by 411 Mania, "What we're doing at NXT right now is groundbreaking. It's revolutionary. I want to be involved in NXT. I don't want to get called up, so to speak because I believe that we at NXT are building something together."

Sami Zayn Feuding with Kevin Owens

According to the same report by the Observer via Wrestling Inc, Zayn is expected to be called up soon to continue his feud against Kevin Owens. The former NXT champion made his Royal Rumble debut last Sunday and eliminated his long-time rival.

Zayn is being considered as a debutant for the Monday Night RAW after WrestleMania 32 when the crowd is surely hot and full of adrenaline. The 31-year-old is currently scheduled to take on the debuting Shinsuke Nakamura at NXT Takeover: Dallas during WrestleMania weekend, per Wrestle Zone.

Samoa Joe Debuting on RAW after WrestleMania

The Observer noted that plans are set to have Joe debut on the main roster, but WWE can always change their minds. There were also some considerations of letting him win the NXT championship from Finn Balor to continue their feud. Thus, prolonging his stay at developmental. He is set to challenge for the NXT title again at NXT Takeover: Dallas on April 1, 2016.
