Floyd Mayweather Jr. says he is officially retired and Manny Pacquiao will be following this April. However, not too many believe the claims of the two no matter how many times they reiterate their stance.

For Mayweather, his return to the ring is impossible at least for now. He claims he has amassed a lot of riches to date and is well off. On the other end, Pacquiao announced his retirement because he was venturing into a more serious role in politics. The eight-time division champion will be running for a senatorial seat this coming May.

Given those cases and no matter how valid they may be, not everyone is buying, per an ABS-CBN report. Pacquiao’s camp finds it hard to believe, and now an outside person has joined the mix who is man enough to single out that he is not buying the retirement pitch of either fighter.

HBO unofficial ringside scorer Harold Lederman believes that Pacquiao and Mayweather will go at it one last time. For Mayweather, the money would be hard to pass up while Pacquiao is, of course, leaning more on avenging his loss in May 2015.

For the rematch to happen, there has to be an instigator. The plight of such falls in the hands of Mayweather who always makes his calls. Once Mayweather announces he has found the urge to fight again, expect Pacquiao not to be far behind, according to the outlet.

In that scenario, Lederman says via Boxingscene.com that the fight will be different.

“Manny wasn’t Manny. He did have a bad shoulder. Maybe legally he can’t talk about it. A lot of people bet on Manny Pacquiao and it wasn’t what you might call a level playing field; Manny came into the fight with a bum shoulder. A lot of people knew it. But Manny wasn’t going to call the fight off, that’s for darn sure,” Lederman said.

Everyone knows the celebrated concealed shoulder injury that drew the ire of fans. Mayweather felt Pacquiao was a sore loser in not admitting defeat and has since shunned the possibility of a rematch. But what if a rematch does take place. What can fans expect?

“When it comes to the rematch, Manny’s going to come in there ready to fight. It’s going to be a different Manny Pacquiao,” Lederman said.

Lederman’s call seems to be similar to what others believe if Pacquiao is 100 percent healthy and faces Mayweather again. Will it come? Right now, that remains uncertain and could depend on what happens after Pacquiao’s April fight with Timothy Bradley Jr.
