Nick (David Giuntoli) will face a deadly underwater monster after it takes the life of a tourist in Friday's all-new episode of "Grimm" on NBC.

A synopsis for the upcoming episode, which is titled "A Reptile Dysfunction," reveals that Nick and his team will begin the chapter by investigating the death of a tourist at a local lake. It appears that the culprit was some type of water creature similar to the legendary Loch Ness Monster.

"A local legend comes back to life as Nick and Hank (Russell Hornsby) investigate a mysterious sighting linked to a tourist's death at a local lake. Rosalee's (Bree Turner) past comes back to haunt her. Elsewhere, Capt. Renard (Sasha Roiz) continues to support a candidate for mayor. Meanwhile, Nick is shown the scope of the Wesen uprising as the secret government agency takes him into the heart of their Portland operations center," reads the synopsis, according to CarterMatt.

Meanwhile, during last week's midseason premiere, fans learned more about Juliette's (Bitsie Tulloch) return to Portland as a dangerous woman named Eve, who is working with Black Claw. Nick also confronted her for setting up his mother, who was killed at the end of Season 4.

Tulloch recently opened up about her new role on the show as Eve, telling Entertainment Weekly that the old Juliette that fans used to know is "gone."

"Eve has Juliette's DNA and flesh and blood, but there is no emotional connection to the life that Juliette led," she said.

The actress also explained how Juliette's body managed to survive after she was shot with an arrow in the Season 4 finale.

"When she was kidnapped by Hadrian's Wall, obviously there were tranquilizer darts, because she's still alive. And Hadrian's Wall started putting two-and-two together that Juliette was an incredibly powerful Hexenbiest but didn't know how to rein it in and control it. So they almost have broken her into submission - into becoming a weapon for Hadrian's Wall."

"Grimm" Season 5, Episode 7, "A Reptile Dysfunction," will premiere on Friday, Feb. 5, at 9 p.m. ET on NBC.
