The “Fallout 4” 1.3 patch was launched earlier in February 2016 on PC. Now, the Xbox One and PlayStation 4 versions have become available.

GameSpot writes that the update for the open-world role playing by Bethesda will provide several fixes, gameplay enhancements, as well as significantly boost object fading distances. Players should also expect to experience general memory and stability improvements. As for bug fixes, one provided a solution to players warping to a new location when they aim. Another fix addressed the issue where players can get dismembered while still alive.

GameRant provided the “Fallout 4” 1.3 full patch notes. Some of the new features include new ambient occlusion setting, HBAO+ (PC) and new weapon debris effects (PC NVIDIA cards). A status menu for settlers in settlements has been added, as well as the ability to rotate an object being held with left or right triggers. Pressing down on the left thumbstick will let players switch the rotating axis. The “ESDF” keys remapping support has also been improved while in Workshop mode (PC).

The new update also provided several gameplay fixes, including improved performance when players look through a scope, companions no longer getting stuck with radiation poisoning, and Big Leagues perk now feature the right calculated damage. An issue where the third person camera would not display correctly after quitting some crafting stations has been fixed, as well as the issue where subtitles would not update properly on certain occasions.

Effects will be taken out on companions properly when items are not equipped. MacCReady’s Killshot perk already calculates headshot percentages properly. Fixes for the issue where companies get stuck while in down state, as well as an issue with NPCs getting stuck in Power Armor, have been provided.

Quest Fixes were also introduced, including the issue where invulnerable characters would get stuck during combat, the issue with “Taking Independence” where minutemen staying from the battle against the Mirulek Queen would not group in the Castle, the issue where Synths would attack the Castle even though the player was friends with the Institute, and the issue where killing a caravan would keep a quest open.

Also on the list are the issue where Preston would send a player to a settlement instead of a dungeon during a Minutemen quest and the issue where Dogmeat would remain at Fort Hagen even after “Reunions” has been completed.

Several other quest and workshop fixes have also been delivered by Patch 1.3. More updates and details on “Fallout 4” are expected soon.
