Enrique Iglesias has recently nabbed two Guinness World Records.

The Spanish artist's first record is for having the most number one singles (26 tracks) on the Hot Latin Songs Billboard Chart from 1995 to 2015. The second record honors him for having the longest stay as No. 1 of the Hot Latin Songs chart. Iglesias' song "Bailando" stayed at the top of the charts for 41 weeks from May 17, 2014 to Feb. 25, 2015.

"Thank you @guinnessworldrecords for these 2 certificates! Can't thank you guys enough for making these TWO world records possible," Iglesias, 40, wrote on Instagram. The recording artist's post was accompanied by a snapshot of him holding his two Guinness certificates.

Iglesias' successful music career gave way to him winning 10 World Music Awards, five Latin Grammys and one Grammy. More than 137 million copies of his albums were sold globally.

"I loved to read the Guinness World Records book at home when I was a kid so it makes me very happy to receive these awards today," the singer said of his recognition from Guinness.

Iglesias' latest album was released in 2014 with the title "Sex and Love," which contained the hit "Bailando." He recently wrapped his Sex and Love concert tour that began back in 2014.

"It was a pleasure recognizing one of the most important artists in the history of Latin music with his GWR records," Guiness World Records adjudicator Carlos Martinez said. "We wish him the best of luck and we are sure he will be breaking his own records soon."

Iglesias also got 11 nominations for the 2016 Billboard Latin Music Awards. The awards ceremony will broadcast live on April 28 on Telemundo after the Billboard Latin Music Conference scheduled on April 25 to 28 at the Ritz Carlton in Miami Beach.

Enrique Iglesias' Charitable Cause

Last October, Iglesias collaborated with the Save the Children Foundation to roll out a T-shirt promotion, which aims to raise funds and help kids in crises.

The heart T-shirt's design was based on the heart that Iglesias drew on his bloodstained T-shirt after his hand was accidentally sliced by a drone during a concert in Tijuana, Mexico in May 2015.

The funds from the T-shirt sales will allow Save the Children to provide children's needs and to help them recover from their physical and emotional traumas. The foundation is giving emergency relief to children and families affected by 50 humanitarian emergencies globally like the civil war in Syria, the migrant crisis in Europe and the Nepal earthquake.
