Eva Longoria Spotted Not Wearing Engagement Ring, Trouble With Fiance Jose 'Pepe' Baston?
Could there be trouble in paradise?
Eva Longoria was recently spotted not wearing her ruby red engagement ring, with fiancé Jose 'Pepe' Baston nowhere to be found. More recently, the ringless "Desperate Housewives" star arrived solo for a Latino Victory foundation function.
Longoria Admitted in the Beginning the two Didn't hit it off
After two years of dating, the two announced their engagement just before Christmas last year. Back then, Longoria hinted she was as surprised as anyone, adding that the two didn't exactly hit it off when they first met.
"I was getting out of a bad relationship, and he was getting out of a relationship, so there wasn't a connection," she recently told "People" magazine.
But soon, that all changed, as the two appeared to be headed for happily ever after. The marriage would be the third for the 41-year-old Longoria, who was previously married to actor Tyler Christopher and NBA star Tony Parker.
Longoria recently shared with reporters she's always had the feeling this would be her time to shine.
Longoria Getting Better With age
"I've always known that I'd love my 40s," the "Telenovela" star recently revealed. "I always say I want my 40-year-old mind with my 20-year-old body. That would be perfect!"
Longoria and Baston also recently walked the red carpet together for the first time since announcing their engagement, and they looked the picture of contentment at the Screen Actors Guild Awards. Longoria rocked an embellished, green Julien Macdonald gown that featured a plunging neckline and open back
She later raved of her soon to be husband, "He's amazing, he's gorgeous and really the kindest human being I've ever met. He is probably one of the first men I've dated that has been older and established and, basically, a grownup. It is so nice to be arm-in-arm with someone who is your equal."
