A video of a horse feeding his friend has gone viral because of how resourceful and sneaky the two horses behave.

According to the video, posted on Facebook by Ejido Agua Prieta, the white horse was punished by their owner after losing a race and was locked up in a separate stall with no food.

Many of the thousands who have commented on the video have shared how distasteful the punishment was and called it animal cruelty.

Apparently one of the horse's fellow race horse friends felt the same way and decided to feed him through the gaps between the wooden bars that separated their stalls.
