Powerball Winning Numbers for June 1, 2016, Time and Where to the Watch Live Stream
The numbers for June 1 are 23, 30, 33, 40, 69 and the Powerball is 12. Powerplay is 5x.
The Wednesday night, June 1, Powerball drawing is expected to carry a jackpot of at least $100 million for a single winner.
For a winner electing to cash out in a lump sum payment, the prize is expected to total at least $65.5 million. The last drawing was held on May 28, and with no jackpot winners the payout has rolled over to Wednesday night's 11 p.m. ET drawing. You can watch a live stream of the drawing here.
The winning numbers for the last drawing were 6-33-34-58-59-12. A combination of five white balls and a red ball are drawn to determine the winning digits. Tickets are priced at $2 each, with sales ending approximately an hour before the drawing is held.
Lottery Officials Alert Public of Unclaimed $1 Million Ticket
With the odds of a player winning the jackpot or a seven-figure pot of any size being virtually astronomical, lottery officials, nonetheless, find themselves having to alert the public that a December 5, 2015 winner has yet to claim their $1 million prize.
Winning tickets are only valid for 180 days and authorities warn the ticket holder just has until June 2, to step forward. The ticket's winning digits are 13-27-33-47 and 68, with the Powerball number being 13.
Reports are the winning ticket was purchased in Fairfield County. Authorities add yet another $1 million winning ticket also remains unclaimed from the Feb. 20, draw, where the winning numbers were 11-12-15-16-54 PB 25.
That winning ticket is reported to have been purchased in Tolland County.
Mega Millions Prize Also on the Rise
Meanwhile, the Friday, June 3, Mega Millions jackpot is expected to top $251 million after there were no grand prize winners in the May 31, drawing. The prize is expected to carry at least a $162 million payout for a lump sum winner.
