Argentina vs. Honduras Live Stream, Preview, Predictions for 2016 Rio Olympics
Argentina looks to stave off elimination when it takes on Honduras in the final group game of the 2016 Rio Olympics.
Argentina entered the tournament as a favorite to win it all, but the team's performance thus far in the tournament has left a lot to be desired. After a shocking 2-0 loss to Portugal, which was aided by some poor goaltending from Geronimo Rulli, the team got its head back on straight and managed a 2-1 win over Algeria in its second game. Angel Correa was the star of that second game, putting on a solid performance that was expected of him heading into Brazil.
However the team must defeat an Honduras side that has been resilient. Honduras commenced its tournament with a 3-2 win over Algeria before jumping out to a 1-0 lead over Portugal that eventually wound up a 2-1 defeat.
The winner of this game moves on to the next round. A draw favors Honduras, which has a better goal differential.
Prediction
Argentina gets knocked out of the tournament following a 1-0 loss at the hands of Honduras.
Start Time
The Albiceleste and Honduras kick off their match at 12 p.m. EDT.
