Australia vs. Japan Live Stream, Preview, Predictions for FIFA World Cup 2018 Qualifiers
Australia and Japan face off in the World Cup Qualifiers 2018 on Tuesday.
Both sides have had solid displays in the tournament and yet, that has not proven enough to stay ahead of the pack. Australia is first in Group B with seven points, but is tied with Saudi Arabia for that top spot and only ahead of Japan, which sits in fourth with six points.
Any mistake here could put both sides in major peril of dropping out of the top two or three in the competition.
Australia defeated Iraq and the United Arab Emirates before tying in Saudi Arabia. Japan lost against the UAE before topping Thailand and Iraq.
Only the top two sides of each group in the AFC qualifiers get automatic spots in the World Cup in Russia. The two third place sides face off for a chance to play against the CONCACAF playoff side. That two-legged competition will determine the final contestant in the World Cup.
Who Wins? Prediction
Australia is home and should be the favorite. Look for a 1-1 draw however.
Where and When? Start Time, Date, Location
Australia and Japan kick off at 5 a.m. EDT on Tuesday.
Where to Watch - Live Stream and TV Info
