Twilight Saga costumes, props and other vampire accessories up for auction
Twilight fans better have their money ready, as over 900 pieces of props, costumes and set items will be up for grabs. All merchandise are original and come from the five film saga, with pieces touched and used by Kristen Stewart, Robert Pattinson, and Taylor Lautner.
According to People, the auction is to be hosted by the Prop Store, and is scheduled to be held from Nov. 19-20 at the TCL Chinese Theatre in Hollywood. Twilight fans and movie item collectors will be there to see the lots and bid in person, but bids can also be placed online or over the phone.
"This is the very first opportunity for Twihards to get their hands on this gear," Brandon Alinger from Prop Store LA says, "As far as I'm aware no authentic Twilight material has ever been sold in the past."
According to 9 News AU, fans are excited about very exclusive items such as Bella's purse, jewelry and even the clothes Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson wore as Bella and Edward for their "first day of school", also the pair's first meeting in the movie. Kristen Stewart's outfit set starts at $1,000-1,500.
Other items include the bedroom furniture The Cullens have in their house when they get married, where their unforgettable love scene took place. Some of the smallest yet most significant items up for auction include personal journals, cast chair backs, the heroine's engagement ring and an invite to Bella and Edward's wedding.
For more daring fans, Jacob Black's motorcycle, which Taylor Lautner used and rode on set, is auctioning at about $5,000-$7,000, the most expensive item of the lot so far.
The hype over twilight started when Stephenie Meyer published her book in 2005 and was adapted into a film in 2008. The final installation, "Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn - Part 2" came out in 2012.
The auction is set to begin on November 19, at 2PM EST, and is expected to open the same time on November 20. Fans and collectors can log on to www.twilightsagaauction.com to register and to view lots up for auction.
