Google is giving Halloween a bit of a crazy feel with its Doodle this year. Today, Google has a playable game on it's homepage, so players should'nt freak out when they see the scary doodle on the screen. It's a playable game at the top of Google.com, players will have to do is simply click over google and click the Play button in the image that carries venerable tradition hidden games on the homepage. It's the Magic Cat Academy, a well-conceived little game.

Reports from Forbes states the original concept was the cat making the soup to arise the dead, but the idea was too abstract, so they created an idea of a wizard school as said by the creators. It's an addictive game where it involves the cat in a Hogwarts-like school magic using a wand to chase off wraiths. The company said that doodle was inspired by a real life cat named Momo.

According to GameSpot, once players are in the game, they will be on a shortcut scene before jumping into action consisting of fighting off ghosts as an adorable, wand-wielding cat. It's rather very simple game where each ghost has symbols above their heads and players need to draw to kill them out. It may need a little bit of strategy to defeat them when they start throwing out hordes of ghost at the same time. The games consist of five levels , and the last one is challenging where players will encounter the multi stage boss.

The Magic Cat Academy may be a bit of a distraction for most of the workaholics, but it's a nice fun exciting game to take a break for few hours from work. It will not be the next megahit game, but the game is packed with a Halloween feeling and excitement all throughout the levels.
