"Sex and the City" fans should be happy as the popular series is reportedly coming up with a spinoff. This will be for fans who are hoping for the show's revival. Most fans were not happy with just the series' six seasons and two movies, and many of they are hoping to get a much-awaited spinoff.

Rumors indicate that a spinoff to "Sex and the City" is highly possible, although it may not have anything to do with actress Sarah Jessica Parker, who plays Carrie Bradshaw in the series, as reported by Marie Claire. Actress Kim Cattrall said on "The Wendy Williams Show" that she's currently in talks with HBO to reprise her character Samantha Jones.

As reported by The Telegraph, Cattrall took to Twitter: "I'm so unbelievably flattered & moved @WendyWilliams Can't WAIT 2 get back 2 the serious business of making u all laugh! Fingers x'd."

Details on the spinoff remains sketchy. But should it ever transpire, the series' most-beloved characters are expected to return. Samantha is so well-known for her exploits with men and women in the series, despite being overshadowed by Carrie's fashion style. 

Fans often define Samantha's character as one that defines fabulous personal style with a carefree approach to life in her wardrobe. She's known to mix in blacks and pops, and often wears striking scarlet suits. She always stands out with her confidence due to her fearless colors.

It's been ages since the last "Sex and the City" movie, and fans are hoping to see a third installment soon. Although Kim herself said that a "Sex and the City 3" is narrowly possible, the ladies' return to the big screen would certainly give their fans what they're wishing for.
