It's no wonder that it took Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon forever to finalize their divorce, and some of the demands the "Butterfly" hitmaker has made are quite shocking. Also, Mariah has been reported to have split from her billionaire beau James Packer, allegedly over the diva's romance with one of her backup dancers.

TMZ reported that Mariah and Nick have agreed on a settlement in their divorce. Both have declared their income for 2014 as part of the proceedings, revealing that Mariah made USD 6.3 million in comparison to Nick's USD 2.7 million. Both income figures significantly dwarf Mariah's demands for a USD 50 million settlement from Packer amid the breakdown of their engagement.

Mariah's settlement with Nick also requires that their twins, Moroccan and Monroe, would receive money from their father. A USD 5,000-monthly deposit into the children's trust has been required from Nick, but no similar requirement has been required from Mariah.

The one surprising detail from the settlement says that neither Mariah nor Nick can allow the kids to address a significant other as a variation of their mom or dad. Mariah and Nick share custody, but the kids are primarily with her. If Nick comes to visit, as per the agreement, she would foot the bill for travel and lodging.

So one can only imagine that rumors regarding Mariah still being engaged with Packer at the time the document in question was signed with Nick can still make sense, reported by Perez Hilton.

In an interview on Thursday with The Breakfast Club, Nick admitted that the baby news won't affect his divorce settlement with Mariah Carey. It seems that the two are already over with each other, to the extent that that neither of them cares much about who either of them dates.
