There is a new soundtrack being made for "The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time" and fans can listen to it on vinyl. The album named Hero of Time will contain a 64-piece orchestra version of the songs being used in the game.

Hero of Time, "The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time" Soundtrack on Vinyl

The Hero of Time vinyl soundtrack is being produced by iam8bit and Materia Collective and made possible through a successful Kickstarter campaign. The album is based on "The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time" soundtrack and successfully licensed. However, it is not an official Nintendo product and the groups will pay royalties to Nintendo.

The music for Hero of Time will be recorded next month and while the music in the original "The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time" game is in 8-bit, this new soundtrack will be recorded by a 64-piece orchestra. The music will be made available in digital and CD version and in vinyl.

Hero of Time Preorder, Price, and Details

Hero of Time will approximately have 20 tracks and the music will be arranged and composed by Erich Buchholz. The art images that accompanies the album is created by Ryan Brinkerhoff. Those who wish to have their hands on the vinyl version of the album can pre-order starting December 9 with the record priced at $40, according to Polygon. Hero of Time is estimated to be launched by March 2017.
