'Game Of Thrones' Season 7 Casts, Update: Conor McGregor Joins 'GoT' Cast As Part Of Euron Greyjoy’s Crew
UFC's two-division champion Conor McGregor has been rumored to be officially casted in the HBO's "Game of Thrones." The show is known for its brutality and violence and that is the same with Conor McGregor. However, McGregor is famous for his antics and big mouth when it comes to prefight conferences and even interviews which fans wouldn't see in his role with GOT.
According to Kansas City, Irish fighter Conor McGregor is going to be a silent pirate in the upcoming season of Game of Thrones. Dana White confirmed that Conor McGregor is involved in the television show who has been filming all over the globe including Ireland.
In their article, McGregor is set to appear a cameo in Euron Greyjoy's ship named Silence. As accordance with the books, the crew members of the ship Silence had their tongues cut out, hence, the name. UFC president already showed support to McGregor's first shot at television drama with him saying that "The show's huge, it's awesome, and I'm excited for him."
Breitbart added that there was a viral video prior to McGregor's title fight wherein he spars with Game Of Thrones' actor Hafþór Júlíus "Thor" Björnsson, playing Ser Gregor "The Mountain" Clegane and is also the strongest man in Europe. The two were having a friendly spar but many laugh it off saying that McGregor finally met his match but is much more than what he expected.
If that is true, fans of UFC and GOT will surely be excited to see another familiar face in the upcoming seventh season but only with less talk. The trailer for the seventh season has been released and it follows the war for the Iron Throne between Cersei Lannister, Jon Snow and Daenerys Targaryen.
