Attack on Titan Season 2 Update: Series cleared to take off in February 2017
Upon its release in 2013, many has been captured by the giant humanoid creatures that devour humans. The humanity's survival through their vulnerability has caught the attention and interest of its viewers that made it a top hit anime in the same year. Now, many are asking what happened to Attack on Titan season 2 and why it has been delayed for years. But, they are in for a treat as season 2 has been cleared for a February 2017 release.
According to Ecunemical News, February 2017 is the month to be excited about for fans of Attack on Titan series as the second season is set to premier. Attack on Titan is one of the series that stayed true with the manga and with the second season, fans are in deep story as they will discover the true history of the wall. Further, Eren's power and how he acquired such is also included to be told in the second season. With this, fans are treated with lots for their years of waiting.
Meanwhile, Game N Guide revealed some details on why the second season arrived years after. In their article, Attack on Titan is supposedly schedule for a 2014 release but the schedules didn't match with the story arc. Another is the creation of "Kabaneri of the Iron Fortress" which delayed the season 2 due to Tetsuro Araki's commitment with the project.
Nonetheless, fans should expect that Season 2 will be as just as incredible as the first since most members of the first season are bound to return which includes Yasuko Kobayashi, series writer, and Kyoji Asano, character designer.
With that information, fans are excited to look forward to another adventure of Eren Yeager and its battle against the titan looking forward to eat them in Season 2 of Attack on Titan.
