Fans are getting restless for "Alan Wake 2" due to the cliffhanger events in the first game. Game developer Remedy Entertainment has released some updates including a video teaser that may contain clues about the next game they will be releasing.

Remedy Entertainment Teases New "Alan Wake 2" Game?

Remedy Entertainment has released a new clip teasing the newest game from the company. The trailer which is less than 30 seconds features the company's Creative Director, Sam Lake, IGN notes. While the trailer did not provide much information, the company has stated that they will be releasing a trailer soon but it is not known if it is the new "Alan Wake 2" game or another from a similarly successful franchise like "Max Payne."

The outlet adds that Remedy Entertainment did say earlier this year that they have split their group into two in order to be able to develop two AAA games simultaneously. Gaming events like the PlayStaion Experience and The Game Awards are coming up so it is not known if "Alan Wake 2" is scheduled to be unveiled or another game entirely.

Fans Argue in Remedy Entertainment Teaser Video

It has been more than six years since "Alan Wake" first came out for the Xbox and PC but there isn't much news about it. However, it is clear that it has a cult following as fans of the game have gone to Remedy's YouTube video to argue about the existence of "Alan Wake 2." Apart from "Alan Wake 2" fans are also hoping to see another "Max Payne" game.

While the hype for "Alan Wake 2" is real among fans of the franchise, Stevivor notes that Remedy already denied working for the sequel. The two titles they were working on June were allegedly new games and not installments to their existing franchises.
