Microsoft has always taken steps to thrill tech lovers a lot. Now it is strongly recommending that high-end hardware specifications are not required to run VR headsets on the PC. The upcoming range of headsets will operate on comparatively lower and modest range of hardware based machine and the superlative tech giant is currently working on the mechanism to develop such VR headset attributes.

According to Computer World, for enabling the upcoming tethered VR headsets, Windows 10 based PCs won't require having fully integrated headset computation system like Microsoft's HoloLens. Dell, HP, Acer, Asus, and Lenovo also plan to come out with headset accessories for PCs. Microsoft has even hinted the price range for those VR headsets to begin from start at $299

As per PC World, to support a VR headset a laptop would require sporting the equivalent chipset of Intel's Core i5 7200U CPU based on Kaby Lake, Intel's HD 620 integrated graphics, and a flawless 8GB of dual-channel memory.

Well for the upcoming Creator's version of Windows 10, the minimum laptop requirement will be an Intel Core i5 chipset or equivalent. The laptop GPU will need to be a sporting one like Nvidia GeForce GTX 965M, AMD RX460, or DirectX 12-compatible GPU. Similarly, a desktop would require a minimum of a Core i3 or an AMD FX4530 CPU equivalent, and a Nvidia GeForce GTX 960/1050, AMD Radeon RX460, or a DirectX 12 compatible GPU.

For storage, PCs will also require 10GB space and also 8 GB dual-channel RAM. However, these specifications may alter a little bit from what it is surfaced currently. Tech fans who are willing to have the VR headsets may wait for a while until any further official confirmation comes in this matter.
