Rainbow Six Siege: patches, character, latest update
The "Rainbow Six Siege" patch has finally arrived with a new PvP Map and an improvisation of the weakest character. There are some major changes in the game and characters including weapons.
One of the weakest game operators in the Siege since its launch has been Tachanka, the update will fix Tachanka by helping him gain a shield to protect him from headshots. Being the weakest character in the game Tachanka was not good enough, besides he had the lowest pick rate of any character reported MMMOS.
The new map consists of better orientation, improved visual layout and removes all the gas and PvP elements from the original design. It is said to be a competitive map and a variant of the Bartlett University map.
The most needed update was for the weapons; the patch will adjust the weapons for many characters and have a better balance of SMGs against rifles. It's mostly visible in the form of recoil decreases for SMGs as per GameSpot.
The shields are upgraded and will have more directional resistance against explosions, but this is exceptional for characters like Tachanka Blackbeard. Together with all the bug fixes the grenade explosions appear to be more consistent.
The patch is believed to make the game easier and approachable especially when players use the weakest characters. Ubisoft has also released two new versions of the game and they have outlined what can be expected.
For those who pick Tachanka they will not experience the difficulties faced earlier, attackers will not be able to deny the character or get a headshot with ease.
As for the other character like Fuze there is an additional cluster charge, Bandit also gets another battery and smoke gas can be thrown like grenades. Blackbeard also gets extra time to aim down sight. Players have waited for an update and Ubisoft has done it again to improve the game.
