Oppo R9s and Xiaomi Mi Mix have been released closely, in October and November 2016. The newly launched phablets have quite impressive features and naturally people would like to compare the two before making a choice.

Xiaomi Mi Mix features IPS LCD screen of 6.4-inch length and 1080 x 2040 pix resolution. Oppo R9s has AMOLED Display of 5.5-inch length and 1080 x 1920 pixels resolution. But, the Oppo model is sleeker and lightweight.

Now people would obviously like to know about the performance of the phone which is implied by the configuration. Xiaomi Mi Mix is based on a Qualcomm Snapdragon 821 chipset accompanied by Adreno 530 GPU. Oppo R9s has Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 chipset paired with Adreno 506 GPU. The Xiaomi phone is based on Android 6.0 Marshmallow while Oppo R9s is based on Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow, reports GameNGuide.

Keeping its trend, Xiaomi has brought the Mi Mix handset with a non-removable, strong and durable Li-ion battery of 4400mAH. It makes Mi Mix a heavy duty handset. And there is a Li-Po non-removable battery of 3010 mAh in the Oppo handset. Both the sets have the fingerprint sensor.

Mi Mix has an internal storage of 128 GB (with 4 GB RAM) and 256 GB (with 6GB RAM). The memory in Mi Mix is not expandable, whereas the Oppo handset has a lower value of internal storage (64GB) but it supports micro SD card up to 256 GB. Oppo R9s has 4 GB RAM.

Some people must be interested in the camera features in the two Smartphone. Both the phablets provide 16 MP prime cameras. According to Mobile&Apps, Oppo phablet sports a 16 MP front camera while Mi Mix has 5MP.

In terms of pricing,  Xiaomi Mi Mix 128 GB variant costs around $510 and Oppo R9s comes within $410. Now the buyer has to make the choice according to spec requirement and affordability.
