Niantic Labs Disappoint Pokemon Go Fans with Only 7 Out of 100 Creatures; It Could Take Time
Niantic Labs got cocky last week revealing that the new updates for Pokemon Go will include 100 second gen Pokemons to be added to the initial batch. Players from everywhere are now voicing their disappointment as they were only able to find 7 out of the 100 creatures namely: Clefa, Elkid, Igglybuff, Magby, Pichy, Smoochum and Togepi. Pokemon Go players are now demanding when these promised Pokemons will be out and how could they get them.
GamenGuide has an exclusive report about the missing 97 Pokemons. Apparently, the initial 7 second gen monsters were not actually hiding in the game but were hatched through their own KM egg. Therefore it could really take time for all the other Pokemons to show up in the game.
The report also mentioned that Niantic could be waiting for the best time to hatch these monsters because from a game developer's perspective, letting loose 100 Pokemons at the same time could spell disaster. The game guru could still be checking out what the impact of initially adding 7 monsters to the game as well.
Meanwhile, Daily Express reported disappointing news from Niantic Labs. Looks like the much-awaited Pokemon Go Apple Watch version won't be out this season. Niantic said that this project will still push through but it is still in development.
An Apple Watch is an alternative to an expensive Pokemon Plus Tracker which has been in short supply since its release. The Apple Watch version will let players collect rewards from PokeStops and will also show how many steps that trainers need to go to hatch their eggs and XP data as well.
The release of additional Pokemons for "Pokemon Go" could be in line with the release of the new Apple Watch. Niantic's latest update is also making changes to the hunting app saying that it can make it possible to transfer a number of Pokemons in a single transaction. With the watch handy, it could also make it possible to transfer more creatures than doing it individually.
