Ever since Nokia had confirmed that it'll launch their Android powered smartphones in coming year 2017, brand loyalists have been waiting since long to get their hands on the device. There's still a couple of months to go for the company to actually announce the smartphones at the MWC 2017. Thanks to the never ending rumors incoming from China that keep the curiosity in fans also some key specifications of the upcoming handsets.

HMD, the company that scooped the right to sell phones with the Nokia logo, already announced that it will be issuing Android handsets with the brand name in quarter 1, it's also expected that they will make the announcement at the MWC expo in February. Most of the leaks so far suggested that Nokia will endeavor mid-range phones this time.

According to TelecomTalk most of the rumors surrounded the mid-range D1c smartphone so far, a new leak sheds light on the flagship smartphone dubbed the Nokia P. The smartphone will sport an all metal body with an anodized finish which is not to mention to pretty common place among the flagship phones of late.

As per PhoneArena the leaks claims that the Nokia P will be powered by a Snapdragon 835 chip-set teamed with 6GB of extraodinary powerful RAM which seems to be a combination that'll be most common among the upcoming smartphones in 2017. Meanwhile there is no such rumor pointing on the screen size of the smartphone, it's expected that the Nokia P will come up with a QHD resolution display. The smartphone will feature a 23 megapixel camera with Zeiss Lens.

HMD mentioned that it will start small, and will be releasing more Android handsets throughout 2017, so the eventual Nokia flagship might come at a later date, but we guess a lot of the future HMD plans will be revealed come MWC time anyway, so stay tuned for the details.
