Sir Ridley Scott's eyes are on Australia as he looks to find where "Prometheus 2" will be filmed.

On Wednesday morning, he flew to Australia. He was seen taking VIP tour of the Fox Studios lot in Sydney, notes the Daily Mail.

"Staff have been pulled off productions on the Gold Coast and Melbourne to take meetings about it," said a source. "The news couldn't come at a better time, with 'Gods of Egypt' and 'San Andreas' wrapping soon people were looking for the next project."

But people only found out that "Prometheus" was possibly heading to Australia after seeing Scott. The first movie had a $130 million budget, and was a prequel to "Alien," which was released in 1979. Charlize Theron, Michael Fassbender, Noomi Rapace and Idris Elba starred in the first movie.

Supposedly, Ridley Scott is looking to make more movies in Australia. He is allegedly in talks with Screen Australia, so that he can also film "Blade Runner 2" sometimes in 2015.

For the first movie, he described the movie as a "vast farmland where there's no hedges or anything else in sight ... where you can see for miles, but it's dirt." Australia can definitely fit that image.

Michael Fassbender recently said that he would be back for "Prometheus 2." On the IMDB page, only Noomi Rapace, Fassbender and Danny Webb are named.

When Fassbender was asked about whether he was happy to be working with Scott, he said, "For sure. I love Ridley. He's a master filmmaker."

The movie is supposed to be released on March 4, 2016, and it is supposed to start shooting later this year. There's no U.K. release date released yet. Jack Paglen has written the script, and Michael Green is re-working it.
