"My dad was actually on The Tonight Show quite a while ago, and it's really nice to follow in his footsteps. I think I am the luckiest kid on planet earth," Us Weekly quoted Irwin. The 13-year old kid showed the same iconic energy and enthusiasm while talking about animals as his late father.

Robert Irwin is co-hosting the annual Steve Irwin Gala in L.A. May 13. He will be accompanied with his mom, Terri, and older sister, Bindi. Irwin showed Fallon a dwarf crocodile named Beetlejuice. After that came the armadillo, which apparently looked like President Donald Trump's toupee to Fallon and then a boa constrictor was shown.
Jimmy Fallon being the one afraid of Animals did however hold the snake and the sloth during the episode. Robert Irwin also gave few minutes describing each animals, their defense mechanism and nature to the audience. According to E! News, Steve Irwin died on 4 September 2006 after being attacked by a Stingray. Robert Irwin was merely three years old then.
The comment section in YouTube could not stop gushing about how much Robert Irwin reminded them of his father Steve Irwin. It was like Steve Irwin was never gone. Even Fallon couldn't stop but stating that Irwin is actually his dad.
