According to Entertainment Weekly, Darius Rucker is set to guest star in "Hawaii Five-0" Season 7. The American singer and songwriter will play the character of Desmond Abati.
Desmond happens to be a bomb maker who will give the team a hard time in episode 18. He is a wanted terrorist with connections to some attacks in the Middle East.
To make matters worst, he is not an ordinary bomb maker, it was revealed that he also responsible for teaching other terrorists like ISIS members to make bombs. Because of that, he is highly targeted by the U.S. government who has been searching for him for the 3 years.
Darius is an American singer and songwriter. He is the lead vocalist of and rhythm guitarist of the Grammy Award-winning American rock band Hootie & the Blowfish.
In addition to that, Red Hot Chili Peppers drummer Chad Smith also reportedly guest composed some multiple cues for the episode.
As for the official plot synopsis of episode 18, Spoilers Guide notes, "Steve MacGarrett (Alex O'Loughlin and Danny Williams (Scott Caan) must extract a uranium-enriched bomb through treacherous jungle before it detonates.
MacGarrett and Danny finally track down the missing uranium, which has been used to build a bomb located in the middle of the jungle. Now, they must carefully extract the unstable bomb through treacherous terrain before it detonates."
"Hawaii Five-0" Season 7 episode 18 is titled as "E Malama Pono" (Hawaiian for handle with care). The upcoming episode is scheduled to premiere on February 24, 2017, at 9:00 p.m. ET/PT first and exclusive on CBS Television Network.
