It was recently announced and actor George Clooney and wife Amal is pregnant with twins. The Lebanese human rights lawyer is reportedly carrying a boy and a girl, due in June.

According to Daily Mail, Clooney opened up about his feelings on soon becoming a dad for the first time. The 55-year old described the whole situation as an "adventure."

"We are really happy and really excited. It's going to be an adventure," Clooney stated during his inerview on French program, "Rencontres de Cinema". "We've sort of embraced it all... with arms wide open."

Clooney further mentioned that his friends are very supportive of the expecting couple. Although sometimes they do tease Clooney about the pregnancy.

The "Tomorrowland" actor recalled incidents where he and his friends would've spend time together and suddenly everyone gets really quiet in the room. A moment later all of Clooney's friends would start making baby crying noises and the whole table just busted up laughing.

Many might raise an eyebrow about Clooney becoming a father at the age of 56. But the actor stated that he looks up to the 89-year-old French actor Jean-Paul Belmondo, who had a child with his second wife when he was 70.

Clooney admitted that he is feeling a little better knowing he will be 56 when the time will come since there are people in the world becoming fathers at 70. Many sources and insiders close to the family have confirmed to People that Amal is expecting a boy and a girl.

An insider revealed that George Clooney is looking forward to fatherhood but he is really nervous too. He is excited about the kids and is dealing well with the nerves that's normal for any expecting parents. Another source admitted and Clooney is going to be the best dad.
