Eiza González can thank her mother's demanding nature for her success.

Glenda Reyna, a former model and judge on the reality show "Mexico's Next Top Model," confessed that she is just as demanding with her daughter as she is as a judge, reported TV Notas.

"The relationship is a reference for my work with models because the way I am with them is exactly how I am with my daughter, with the same demands," Reyna said. "Never delicately and always demanding. Surely, many times she didn't like me, but the results are visible and are present."

Reyna is also very happy with her daughter's newfound success in the United States. González was cast in Robert Rodriguez's "From Dusk Till Dawn: The Series" as Santanico Pandemonium, the role which also propelled Salma Hayek into fame.

"We are very happy with her going to the United States and appreciative that everything is going very well for her; at the moment, there's no returning to Mexico because she has changed jobs and is always open to opportunities in her country because she loves it."

González may have first caught the attention of Americans because of her brief relationship with Liam Hemsworth, but she has really started to make a name for herself based on her own accomplishments.

Her Instagram is also a source of much discussion. Recently, she shared a bikini snap, where bikini line tattoo was visible. González eventually wrote back to the many who criticized or expressed curiosity about the tattoo. She said it was something she got done secretly when she was a teenager.

She also just shared pictures of her new darker hair. Previously, she had an ombre look going on, but now it's all one color and darker.
