After LG launched their new G3 smartphone on Tuesday in Korea, the company is now all set to release the G3 next month in Europe. LG held conferences simultaneously conducted in London, New York and San Francisco to announce the official release date of the new phone. There will be another launch in Istanbul, Singapore and Seoul on Wednesday.

The price of the LG G3 is expected to be quite expensive. Two dealers are selling the phone at €631 (£499) for the 16GB version while the other dealer is selling it at €678 (£552).

The rumor that the G3 would have a fingerprint scanner like the iPhone 5s and Galaxy S5 did not turn out to be true. Light in weight, the LG G3 defies fingerprints and features a rear metallic skin cover. Colors to choose from are silk white, shine gold, metallic black, burgundy red and moon violet.

The specifications of the LG G3 are not only remarkable but the new and smart features will make it stand out in the stiff competition of Android-run gadgets. LG aims to introduce a simplified smartphone rather than bolster it with features in the way Samsung does with its smartphones. LG proudly said that the autofocus system, a new feature found on the G3, gives users the quickest autofocus in a smartphone camera.
