Coldplay And The Chainsmokers Performs Live Debut Of Their First Collaboration Single 'Something Just Like This' At The 2017 Brit Awards
It is definitely Coldplay and the Chainsmokers together in the house in the recently held Brit Awards, and the performance was indeed a surprise as they launched their first-ever collaboration. The popular American DJ and Coldplay's Chris Martin will once again hit the billboards with their song "Something Just Like This", thus revealing a new sound as it combines with Martin's alternative voice. Judging from their performance, the unexpected blend of electronic dance music and pop rock comes with an up and down beat, with a calm starter and frequent jolts to emphasize the title.
The night was full of revelations as the Chainsmokers has announced their new collaborative single with Coldplay before the surprised presentation according to reports from DJ Mag. There were no hints of a live debut and with dim lights; Chris Martin's voice was accompanied by his silhouetted image while Drew Taggart of Chainsmokers was clearly on stage with his guitar. With this introduction, there is no doubt the new song has already debuted, all it needs is the launching of its album.
As every fan of Coldplay would say that this surprise show has all the markings of Coldplay, with the colorful lights that filled the stage and blinks in tune of the song plus the charm of Chris Martin's voice. Based on reports from Billboard, the bouncy rhythm of the music and how the audience danced with Martin when he went down on the stage was all it ever needed to be considered a dynamic performance. Both artists were unique on their craft but were able to make music together and will definitely earn them a lot.
The song "Something Just Like This" comes with Chainsmokers upcoming debut LP but will only be released on April 7, 2017. The electronic duo has recently received a Grammy award for their song "Don't Let Me Down", a similar collaboration song with recording artist Daya.
