The Space X Dragon capsule has successfully docked with the international station on Thursday, Feb 24. The NASA official has confirmed the news.

According to CBC News, after a 24-hour delay due to a navigation software glitch, Space X has completed its delivery to the International Space Station. The Dragon spacecraft safely completed a 400-kilometer journey to the orbiting satellite to deliver more than 2,500 kilograms of supplies.

The Dragon that is loaded with 5,500 pounds of supplies, that rocketed away Sunday from NASA's historic moon pad in Florida. The pad has been idle for nearly six years.

SPACEFLIGHT NOW has stated that the mission was temporarily postponed, due to GPS incorrect value that was found in the ship's GPS system. But the Space X has quickly fixed the issue.

The pad had been idle since the close of the shuttle program almost six years ago. The station's six crew members will accept another shipment on Friday, this one from Russians.

NASA officials said Dragon was grappled by the Canadian-built robotic arm at 5.44 a.m. EST on Feb. 23. Dragon took four days to deliver its cargo supplies which included hauling food rations, science experiments that would repair the space station.

Mike Hopkins, responded astronauts has pointed," Great job with Dragon capture, and sorry about the delays". The mission delivered a record payload of scientific hardware that includes 40 mice researchers will study to learn about bone healing in microgravity.

The space researchers from the said space can decrease a person's bone density. In fact, as Scott Kelly lose about 1 to 3 percent of their bone density in just a month.

The cargo supply had also included a superbug called MRSA. Astronauts will use this equipment to monitor the layers of the upper atmosphere and contribute to ozone layer research. However, it is designed to track particles and pollution that are suspended above the earth.
