Apple's MacBook Retina Display Issues, Extending Program For Clients to get their Notebook Serviced
Apple devices had faced some issues lately with the 2016 MacBook Pro, which obtaining a couple of complaints of its own. For those clients who purchased the 12-inch MacBook or even the MacBook Pro with Retina display and have encountered an issue with the anti-reflective coating, Apple will repair the notebook for free.
According to Digital Trends, the particular issue includes the anti-glare coating on the displays of certain MacBook and MacBook Pro machines. Apple will replace the Retina display on qualified models purchased back in June 2012 until October 2017, or within the three years of the first purchase.
The program was extended to give affected clients a more extended window of time to get their notebook serviced. The program has not been publicly reported, but rather Apple confirmed that the repairs keep on being taken care internally through AppleCare.
However, Digital Trends reported that the issue has been spreading out to a related Facebook group called Staingate that boasts over 9,000 members and anyone who wants to see the images on an extensive gallery how the issue looks like. Obviously, various clients machines have seen the coating wear off or delaminate, and sometimes with spectacularly have a terrible outcome.
Affected clients can also visit the Apple Authorized Service Provider to figure out whether their notebook qualified for the coverage. If the warranty costs are already obtained that is related to this issue, the clients are qualified for a refund, which can be started by reaching Apple support directly.
Other ways to get the machine evaluated, much better if the clients will set up an appointment with the Genius Bar at the local Apple Store or any other authorized Apple repair center. The Apple company may not take a special effort to let everyone know that the machine might be secured by the program, however, there are apparently more than willing to deal with their client's claims once it taking its initial step.
