'Injustice 2' News: NetherRealm Studios Announces New Character - Who's Next? Details Here!
American video game developer NetherRealm Studios has teased the coming of a new character at the upcoming game "Injustice 2." Those who are waiting for the next playable character won't have to wait long because the announcement will be made on March 2.
The reveal will happen over at the official "Injustice 2" blog. It looks like the developers will be accompanying the hero or villain reveal with a new trailer, much like they did with others and for the latest character, Cyborg, Cinema Blend reports.
So far, there are 20 characters revealed for "Injustice 2." The official website reveals that there will be more heroes and villains coming in the future. The confirmed playable characters include Black Canary, The Flash, Harley Quinn, Superman, Supergirl, Deadshot, Wonder Woman, Swamp Thing, Batman, Gorilla Grodd, Cheetah, Robin, Aquaman, Atrocitus and Poison Ivy.
It is not known yet who NetherRealm Studios will be unveiling next month. "Injustice 2" is the sequel to "Injustice: Gods Among Us" and it will be released on May 16 this year under Warner Bros. It will be available for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. The sequel will be continuing the story surrounding the first game.
In "Injustice 2," players can look forward to leveling up their favorite character. Each fight will gain them experience to unlock new abilities and merch such as weapons and skins. Players can choose abilities for their characters which mean that there will be plenty of versions of heroes and villains which will make battling online more interesting.
GameSpot reports that a new trailer for "Injustice 2" was released.It features Superman and Batman but only part 1 of the video was indicated meaning the second part will be coming soon. Watch the new "Injustice 2" trailer below.
