Mike Ross of American renowned drama series "Suits" is finally a recognized lawyer after spending five seasons hiding his secret. In the season finale, Episode 16 titled as "Character and Fitness," Mike is finally legit with the last-minute assistance from Jessica Pearson. 

According to Deadline, Jessica Pearson decided to drop by at a dramatic hearing all the way from Chicago. As a result, Mike received a unanimous vote needed by him to pass the bar and get his license. Anita Gibbs, the prosecutor, who initially caught Mike as a fraudulent lawyer was adamant to not allow Mike to pass the bar. However, the former boss of Pearson Spectre Litt swooped in at the last moment and Mike can finally say that he is a legit lawyer after coming out from a prison binge. 

Just when Anita was getting a hold of Mike and Harvey, Jessica returns and accepts that she was aware of Mike's situation and that he was faking it. Jessica asks Anita to extend her sympathies to Mike and also reveals the connection between Walter and Anita. 

"Suits" Episode 16 ended when Harvey asked Mike to offer his services for the PSL firm, which he accepted, under his own terms and conditions. Meanwhile, Harvey decided to step in as the managing partner. The chapter also shows Tara and Louis part their ways after he confessed to his fiancée that he was already aware of Mike's pretentious career. 

According to TV Guide, the executive producer sheds light on Mike's future having a legal career. Aaron Korsh maintained that Mike will be able to let go his burdens of a fraud lawyer. With this incident, Mike will be able to be more confident, professionally. 

However, in the upcoming season, Mike will see himself entangled amidst the "shark infested world of New York corporate law." "It's a relief, to some degree, for the entire cast of characters, that they no longer have this thing hanging over their heads. It allows them now to just worry about what it's like to be a lawyer in the shark-infested world of New York corporate law."

On the other hand, Gina Torres has made a deal with Korsh to produce and star at her own spin-off series based on her iconic role in "Suits."  It will be solely centered on the character of Jessica Pearson. "Suits" Season 6 Episode 12 aired on 1 March at 10pm EST on the USA Network
